The Sonoma County In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Advisory Committee was established by the Board of Supervisors on September 12, 2000. The composition requirements of the 10 member Advisory Committee were established as:

The role of the Advisory Committee is to provide ongoing advice and recommendations on matters of IHSS service delivery and administration (including policy and funding). The Advisory Committee meets on the fourth Monday of every month from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Adult and Aging Services Conference Center (2160 Northpoint Parkway, Santa Rosa, California).
