The Sonoma County IHSS Public Authority is committed to providing training opportunities for IHSS caregivers and consumers.  The Public Authority's primary training program for the IHSS caregivers involves contracting with the American Red Cross to conduct training classes.  Topics for each course are determined by the Public Authority through input by the IHSS Advisory Committee and the caregivers' Union. 

NOTE: Due to the State budget, the IHSS Caregiver Training Classes have been suspended effective October 1, 2009.
