The Sonoma County In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Advisory Committee was established by the Board of Supervisors on September 12, 2000. The composition requirements of the 10 member Advisory Committee were established as:

  A. 5 present or past users of personal assistance services;
  B. 2 IHSS workers/providers;
  C. 2 at large community members;
  D. 1 County ex officio member.

The role of the Advisory Committee is to provide ongoing advice and recommendations on matters of IHSS service delivery and administration (including policy and funding). The Advisory Committee meets from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. on the fourth Monday of January, February, March, April, May, June, September and October. The meetings are held in the Adult and Aging Division's conference room located at 3725 Westwind Blvd., Suite 101, Santa Rosa, CA 95403.
