The Sonoma County In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Advisory Committee was established by the Board of Supervisors on September 12, 2000. The composition requirements of the 10 member Advisory Committee were established as:

  A. 5 present or past users of personal assistance services;
  B. 2 IHSS workers/providers;
  C. 2 at large community members;
  D. 1 County ex officio member.

The role of the Advisory Committee is to provide ongoing advice and recommendations on matters of IHSS service delivery and administration (including policy and funding).
